The post card on the left shows the Post Office staff posing in the road for the photographer. Not advisable today!
The building which was the Post Office has been converted into flats - the new light wooden fence at the front of the building can be seen towards the right of the modern photograph. (Spring 2002)

 
Ringmer's Post Office then moved about 150 yards along the Lewes Road in an easterly direction. In October 2004 this premises closed, but in November 2004 a new Sub-Post Office opened within Forbuoys. Forbuoys has now changed its name to McColl's and the Post Office remains in part of the store.
