YOGA in the Village Hall
for ANYBODY wishing to improve their health and wellbeing (whatever age or fitness level). MOVE, STRETCH, BREATH, RELAX for strength, flexibility, energy and calm.
Yoga is an ancient, holistic ‘keep fit’ system which is still perfect for our modern lifestyle. Yoga is practical, recognising that as our health and circumstances change throughout life, our practice changes. Each person works to suit their individual needs – we start with what we’ve got ... and use yoga to maintain and develop – physically and/or mentally. YOGA DOES NOT require a stick thin lycra clad body tied into impossible knots, standing on heads, nor is it essential to sit cross legged on the floor (we have chairs!) EVERYONE can enjoy yoga and its benefits – safely and comfortably.
The following groups continue in January – new members, beginners or not, are welcome. All classes in the Village Hall.
Tuesdays 1.30 - 2.45 p.m.
Thursdays 7.00 - 8.15 p.m.
Fridays 9.15 - 10.30 a.m.
| GENTLE YOGA |
Tuesdays 12.15 – 1.15 pm This small group is aimed at those who need to move more gently - haven’t done exercise recently, have low energy, restrictions of movement or perhaps recuperating after illness |
| 1 TO 1 | If you’d like to learn but can’t commit to a regular class, consider personal lessons so that you can practice at home when convenient to you. |
